CHC searched for a solution that would bring increased features and functionality and allow them to operate more efficiently. Under the agreement, Martin Group implemented its fully integrated OMNIA solution, as well as its OASIS(TM) module, for automated switch provisioning; a full facilities management suite; and OMNILink(TM) for online account management.

"We selected OMNIA because it provides functionality, flexibility, and scalability necessary to quickly install service for our customers," said Tom Riley, Executive Vice President, Chickasaw Holding Company. "The OMNIA OSS system and OASIS will allow us to automate our provisioning and increase our expediency about 10 times faster than we can today. Of all the vendors we researched, Martin Group's OMNIA solution provided us the best value for our investment. We are very pleased with the results of our first billing and are well within our expected target billing numbers including toll, monthly charges, and the like."

CHC also plans to implement OMNIA for other entities including their CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) An organization offering local telephone service that is not one of the traditional telephone companies. The Telecommunications Act of 1996 allowed competition to the incumbent telcos (ILECs), enabling new companies (CLECs)  and long distance companies.

"We are excited that Chickasaw Telephone has selected OMNIA as their in-house OSS solution," said Jim Odom, Chief Executive Officer, Martin Group. "Martin Group has teamed with companies like Chickasaw for several years to increase efficiency and productivity. We are thrilled that Chickasaw Telecom recognizes the value that Martin Group and OMNIA bring to their business."
