Chicago Software Association Honors Top-Technology Companies in Illinois; Award Winner's Announced at 1999 Member's Forum.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 1999--

An increased understanding of the impact technology has on business has spurred local concern over Illinois' future as a high-tech hub. Earlier this month, 550 area business leaders made it a point to recognize Chicago's technology successes at the Chicago Software Association's (CSA (1) (Canadian Standards Association, Toronto, Ontario, www.csa.ca) A standards-defining organization founded in 1919. It is involved in many industries, including electronics, communications and information technology. ) 1999 Members' Forum. At the event, local technology business leaders were recognized and honored for their contribution to our area's high-tech growth to date during the Annual Achievement Awards ceremony.

The 1999 award winners recognized by the CSA in the areas of advocacy, excellence, innovation and leadership are:
