Chicago Map Corporation Goes Public; Reverse Merger With Rexford, Inc.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1999--Chicago Map Corporation announced today the approval by its Board of Directors and existing shareholders of its intent to become a public company through a reverse merger with Rexford, Inc. (RXFD), a publicly-owned corporation. Chicago Map designs, develops, produces, markets and licenses geographic digital map technology.

Under this transaction, which was approved March 26, 1999 by the Board of Directors of both companies, Rexford will effect a 1 for 70 reverse split of its 70,000,000 shares and exchange 10,500,000 newly issued shares to acquire all the stock of Chicago Map.

The transaction is subject to approval by the shareholders of Rexford. The Board of Directors of Rexford have agreed to and will prepare and file with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) a preliminary information statement including a notice of special meeting of its stockholders relating to relating to relate prepconcernant

 the approval of this transaction. The merged company will be renamed Lexon Technologies, Inc.

The reverse split will be effected on or about April 23, 1999. Rexford's stock is traded over the counter.
