Chicago Hotel Workers Union -- HERE -- Begins Negotiations; Union Launches www.chicagohoteldeadline.com.

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 5, 2002

Union negotiations covering 7,000 workers at 29 Chicago Chicago, city, United States
Chicago (shĭkä`gō, shĭkô`gō), city (1990 pop. 2,783,726), seat of Cook co., NE Ill., on Lake Michigan; inc. 1837.
 hotels will begin today. The union's rank and file negotiating committee will arrive at McCormick Place Coordinates:

McCormick Place is an enormous exposition complex located in Chicago, Illinois.

HERE Locals 1 and 450, which are jointly bargaining the contract with an association of Chicago hotels, have scheduled a strike vote for August 12. Hotel workers will vote on whether to authorize To empower another with the legal right to perform an action.
