The union's rank and file negotiating committee will arrive at McCormick Place McCormick Place is an enormous exposition complex located in Chicago, Illinois. at noon to present opening proposals. With wages and benefits far below other major cities, the union will propose New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of wages, which are more than double those in Chicago. HERE Locals 1 and 450, which are jointly bargaining the contract with an association of Chicago hotels, have scheduled a strike vote for August 12.
