Chicago Department of Revenue Extends Contract with Accordis, Leading Business Office Outsourcing Provider.

After a successful three-year engagement, Accordis (NASDAQ:HMSY), a leading business office outsourcing services company serving healthcare and ambulance transport providers, today announced that the Chicago Department of Revenue has extended its agreement with the company for an additional year.

Through this contract, Accordis is responsible for primary billing and subsequent collection activity for all ambulance transports operated by the City of Chicago.

The Chicago Department of Revenue operates the second largest emergency medical system in the United States, with more than 200,000 annual transports. Last year, the New York City Fire Department, the largest operator of emergency medical transports in the nation with approximately 500,000 transports a year, signed a similar five-year agreement with Accordis.
