Chicago Area Municipality Leverages Investment in Emergency Alert Systems to Web-Enable Ballpark Lighting, Improve Accountability and Reduce Expenses.

, Calif. -- iControl, Inc. (http://www.icontrol-inc.com) announces a new application for its product line of remote wireless controllers. A Chicago-land suburb has selected iControl equipment and services to supply web-enabled lighting automation controllers for its recreational ballparks. The decision comes after competitive installments were evaluated last season under the rigors of public use.

Ballpark lighting automation extends the use of equipment and communication links already installed for Chicago-area civil defense networks. iControl is in its second year of successfully supplying equipment for the local emergency alert system. Demonstrating a low-cost universal approach, iControl's ballpark lighting and siren control equipment are interchangeable. Both make use of common and interchangeable communications equipment.
