Cheyenne Software opens office in Taiwan; Move met with support from industry leaders.

), the leading provider of storage management software worldwide, today announced the establishment of a sales and support office in Taiwan. Located in Taipei, the office will serve as the sales and technical center for the Asia region.

The opening of the Taiwan office will provide Cheyenne with increased access to one of Asia's largest networking markets and access to software development and technical resources.

As part of its global expansion plan, Cheyenne has signed a number of distributors to sell its products throughout Asia. "Establishment of the Taiwan office will allow Cheyenne to increase its current level of support for our customers in Taiwan and other parts of Asia," said Steve Kendall, Cheyenne's Vice President of Far East Operations. "Cheyenne Software is already a well-entrenched software provider in Asia. We have been offering our complete suite of products for the past five years through many of the region's key distributors. We're looking forward to working more closely with our channel partners and supporting their efforts in servicing potential and existing customers in this rapidly growing market."
