), a world leader in the development of storage management software, is the recipient of Novell Inc.'s premier presentation of its Most Valuable Partner Award for 1994.

The award recognizes Cheyenne's commitment to NetWare as demonstrated in their ongoing support of the networking platform. Cheyenne's NetWare solutions cover backup, storage and network management, network security, and fax/data communications.

Novell's award recognizes Cheyenne for its active participation in the networking industry as well as for the percentage of market share that Cheyenne's NLM Software that runs in a NetWare server. Although NetWare servers store DOS and Windows applications, they do not execute them. All programs that run in a NetWare server must be compiled into the NLM format. McNiel, Cheyenne's executive vice president of Business Development at an international press and analyst symposium hosted by Cheyenne in New York in December.
