Cheyenne Software appoints John McIntosh vice president of Technical Services; Will oversee technical support, training and technical publications.

ROSLYN HEIGHTS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 1995--Cheyenne Software Inc. (AMEX:CYE), a world leader in the development of storage and network management software for multiple operating system environments, today announced the appointment of John E. McIntosh as vice president of Technical Services.

In his new position, McIntosh will be responsible for overseeing Cheyenne's expanding technical support, training and technical publications departments. Technical support, which is offered free of charge to all Cheyenne customers, includes over 100 trained professionals in the U.S., Europe and Asia, offering technical assistance and guidance in support of the entire Cheyenne product line. Cheyenne's training programs are provided to users and resellers, as well as Cheyenne personnel, on a continuous basis. The company's technical publications group is responsible for writing and producing all instructional documentation that accompanies a Cheyenne product.

Throughout his over 15 year career, McIntosh has held a variety of senior management positions in the operational, engineering and marketing fields. Most recently, as the vice president of operations for Arcada Software Inc., he directly managed the fulfillment, customer support, engineering services, facilities and human resources functions of Arcada's Lake Mary facility. Prior to Arcada, McIntosh was vice president of engineering and general manager for Connor Peripherals/Archive Software division where he had profit and loss responsibility for the company's entire software development and sales and marketing efforts. His earlier professional experience includes positions with Maynard Electronics and Pick Systems.
