Chevys, Inc. Names Ronald P. Maccarone to President and Chief Executive Officer.

Effective today, Chevys, Inc. ("Chevys") has announced the promotion of Ronald P. Maccarone to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Maccarone had been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Chevys since May of 1999. Prior to joining Chevys, he spent twenty-nine years in the retail business. From 1994 to 1999, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Eagle Hardware & Garden, Inc., a $1.2 billion dollar publicly traded home improvement retailer. Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Maccarone spent over twenty years with Builders Emporium, a chain of 125 home improvement stores, including eight years as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
