ChevronTexaco Sponsors 2004 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl; Sports Fan Consumer Promotions Are Underway At Metro-Atlanta Area Texaco Xpress Lubes and Chevron and Texaco Gas Stations.

As a long-standing sponsor of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, ChevronTexaco will continue its commitment to create interest and drive attendance to the event with a number of co-marketing consumer promotions in partnership with its Texaco Xpress Lube(R) operators and Chevron and Texaco gas stations.

The four consumer promotions are:
--  Ultimate Fan Sweepstakes -- From November 8th through December
        15th, 2004, customers who purchase any service using their
        Chevron or Texaco credit card issued by Chevron Credit Bank,
        N.A. will automatically be entered to win the following
        sweepstakes prizes:

            --  Grand Prize -- One winner of the Ultimate Fan
                Sweepstakes, including V.I.P. attendance at both the
                Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and College Football's National
                Championship Game in Miami.

            --  First Prize -- Five winners of Free Gasoline for a
                Year ($1,200 value).

            --  Second Prize -- Two winners of a V.I.P. Evening at the
                Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

            --  Third Prize -- Ten winners of four Havoline(R)
                Synthetic Oil Changes at Texaco Xpress Lube(R)
                locations ($240 value).

    --  Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl M.V.P. Card Offer -- From October 1st,
        2004 through February 15th, 2005, customers who purchase a
        Havoline High-Mileage or Havoline Synthetic Motor Oil change
        will receive a 10 percent discount at Atlanta Texaco Xpress
        Lube locations on the price of that service. Chick-fil-A Peach
        Bowl M.V.P. Cards have been sold at selected retail outlets in
        the metro-Atlanta area and online at
        www.chick-fil-apeachbowl.com. The M.V.P. cards contain an
        exclusive lubricants offer honored at Texaco Xpress Lube
        locations.

    --  Two Free Tickets to FanFest -- From November 15th through
        December 31st, 2004, customers will receive two free tickets
        to the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl FanFest, an interactive sports
        fan fair to take place just prior to the Peach Bowl game at
        the Georgia Dome on December 31st, 2004, with the purchase of
        a Havoline Synthetic or Havoline High Mileage Oil Change,
        while supplies last.

    --  Save $3 Off Admission to FANFEST -- Until December 31st, 2004,
        consumers who present their valid Chevron or Texaco credit
        card issued by Chevron Credit Bank, N.A. at any FanFest ticket
        window will receive $3 off admission to FanFest. The discount
        is not valid with any other offer.
