The timing of the Texaco with Techron launch in the U.S. is essential to distinguishing the company in the marketplace over the next year. As a result of Chevron's merger with Texaco in 2001, Chevron and Shell both have rights to use the Texaco brand in the United States until July 1, 2006. At that time, Chevron will assume exclusive rights to the Texaco brand in the U.S., and all existing and future Texaco retail brand locations will benefit from the Techron additive. Chevron currently has exclusive rights to the Texaco brand outside the U.S. To find out more about Texaco with Techron, please visit www.texacowithtechron.com.
