Cherokee Inc. Signs Retail License Agreement with Tesco PLC.

VAN NUYS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 2001

Cherokee Inc. (Nasdaq: CHKE), a leading global licensor of brand name apparel, footwear Footwear consists of garments worn on the feet. It is worn for a variety of reasons, including protection against the environment, hygiene and adornment. Usually, socks and other hosiery are worn between the feet and the footwear, except for sandals and flip flops (thongs).  and accessories, announced that it has entered into a license agreement with Great Britain's Tesco PLC. for its Cherokee brand.

The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
