Cherokee Inc. Announces Tesco Plc's Renewal of License Agreement.


VAN NUYS, Calif. -- Cherokee Inc. (Nasdaq:CHKE), a leading licensor and global brand management company, announced today that Tesco Plc has exercised their option to extend their agreement for the Cherokee brand through January 2011.

John Hoerner, Chief Executive, Tesco Central European Clothing, said, "We are extremely pleased with the reaction we have had from our customers to the Cherokee brand, both in the United Kingdom and Central Europe Central Europe is the region lying between the variously and vaguely defined areas of Eastern and Western Europe.
