The New Yorker called her vocal talent "remarkably appealing," saying she has "the vocal power of Whitney Houston with the feel-good-around-the-edges shimmer of Shania Twain." The breakthrough single "I'm Ready," which features the familiar guitar lick from Foreigner's "Urgent," was #2 most added at Top 40 radio, following closely on the heels of Beyonce's new single "Naughty Girl." The up-tempo song is being spun by key stations across the country, including KIIS KIIS Kansai Institute of Information Systems  FM/ Los Angeles, WXKS/Boston, WIOQ/ Philly, Y100/ Miami and Star/ Atlanta. Press coverage on Cherie includes USA Today, Elle, Seventeen and Parade.

Cherie's music is no stranger to television. She is set to appear on an upcoming episode of As the World Turns in early July, performing her soaring balled "Older Than My Years. In addition to the Dell Inc. commercial, "I'm Ready" can be heard in promos for CBS, Lifetime and UPN. Having received its official debut as part of the America Online Service's Breakers program, Cherie's music has been played over 250,000 times on the AOL Music(R) channel. Her recently taped Sessions@AOL appearance will launch on the service in the coming weeks. Cherie joins the ranks with Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Josh Groban, 50 Cent and Jet, each of whom was named to the AOL(R) Service's Breakers program at the beginning stages of their careers.

Cherie's dynamic self-titled debut will hit stores on August 3rd, 2004. For more information go to www.cheriemusic.com.
