ONE of the sticks used to beat Cherie Blair over selling her Downing Street Downing Street, Westminster, London, England. On the street are the British Foreign Office and, at No. 10, the residence of the first lord of the Treasury, who is usually (although not necessarily) the prime minister of Great Britain.  secrets is how poorly she compares to the previous First Lady, Norma Major.

According to commentators, the classy Mrs Major was too prim and proper to spill the beans on her husband's political life.

But maybe that's because her hubby spent most of that political life spilling his own beans with Edwina Currie.

And maybe he did it because Mrs Prim and Proper bored the pants off him. In more ways than one.
