Cheri Hoff Joins Bracewell & Giuliani's Corporate and Securities Practice.

NEW YORK -- Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced today that Cheri Hoff has joined its corporate and securities group as a partner in the New York office. She brings experience providing counsel to investment funds, investors and advisers.

Formerly with the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Hoff has focused her practice on the formation and operation of private investment funds, including hedge funds, real estate funds, funds of funds and hybrid funds. Hoff also has international experience coordinating advice on discretionary investment advisory services throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.

In her broad-based practice, Hoff handles general corporate and securities matters, and representations involving significant reorganizations and restructurings, including workouts, Chapter 11 proceedings, and mergers and acquisitions involving distressed companies.
