Cher's Final Tour; 'Living Proof - the Farewell Tour'.

Cher, the incomparable (mathematics) incomparable - Two elements a, b of a set are incomparable under some relation <= if neither a <= b, nor b <= a.  Oscar and Grammy winning entertainer, will be embarking on the final tour of her career, it was announced today by Clear Channel Entertainment, the tour's promoter. "LIVING PROOF - THE FAREWELL TOUR" will kick off in Toronto June 14 and stop in over 50 cities across the US. "The road is tough," stated the world's ultimate diva, "but the audience makes it all worthwhile." Cher's final tour comes in support of her current Warner Bros. Records Warner Bros. Records Inc. is an American record label that operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Warner Music Group. It is internationally known as WEA International Inc.  album "LIVING PROOF" which debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard album charts and has been praised as a collection of songs that shows Cher at her "career zenith zenith, in astronomy, the point in the sky directly overhead; more precisely, it is the point at which the celestial sphere is intersected by an upward extension of a plumb line from the observer's location. " as a singer. Her current single, "A Song For The Lonely" has remained at the top position on the dance charts for the past five weeks.

In a four-decade career including TV, film, Broadway, live shows and music, Cher has been a permanent fixture on the pop culture map. Her l998 No. l smash album "BELIEVE" sold over ten million CDs in worldwide. The single "BELIEVE" was a number one hit in over 25 countries and holds the record as the biggest-selling single by a female in UK history. Her "BELIEVE" tour played to Standing Room Only crowds around the world for almost a year.
