Chemtura sells Davis-Standard.
On Oct. 30, Chemtura Corp. (formerly Crompton), Middlebury, Conn., sold its majority interest in Davis-Standard LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

Robinson, Stamford, Conn. Davis-Standard was a joint venture of Chemtura and Hamilton Robinson since the latter merged its controlling interest controlling interest
The ownership of a quantity of outstanding corporate stock sufficient to control the actions of the firm. Controlling interest often involves ownership of significantly less than 51% of a firm's outstanding stock because many owners fail in Black Clawson with Davis-Standard 18 months ago. D-S is now about 20% owned by management and 80% by Hamilton Robinson.
