DeTerge CS-45LF

Description: alkoxylated carboxylate 

Use levels: 0.5-5.0%

Applications: sanitizing products containing chlorine, laundry detergents, food plant cleaners and automatic dishwashing detergents

Comments: A unique, low-foaming chlorine stable surfactant for use in alkaline systems only. Stable in 15% active caustic and alkaline electrolytes. Has wetting, emulsification and detergency properties. Stable on dry caustic, hard water stable, biodegradable and cost effective.

DeTeric CSP-50

Description: organo phosphated amphoteric 

Use levels: 0.5-5.0%

Applications: Used in systems containing as much as 50% active liquid caustic soda including smokehouse and coil cleaners. Also suggested for use in bottle washing, paint and wax strippers, drain cleaners and various food plant cleaning products.

Attributes: A primary surfactant stable in up to 50% active liquid caustic soda where low foam is desired. Exhibits wetting and surface tension reduction in 50% active liquid caustic soda while maintaining good color stability. This product is hard water stable and biodegradable. It can also be used in acid systems.

Delonic EAB-95

Description: modified mixed alcohol ethoxylate

Use levels: 2-10.0%

Applications: liquid industrial laundry detergents, heavy-duty industrial detergents, household laundry detergents, truck washes, acid cleaners and waterless hand cleaners

Attributes: A non-phenolic, biodegradable, hard water stable surfactant which can replace a 9-10 mole nonyl phenol ethoxylate in most formulations. Improved electrolyte and hard water stability eliminates or reduces the need for hydrotropes and/or chelating agents.

Bardac 205M-10, 205M-14.08, 205M-1.30, 205M-RTU

Description: A blend of quaternary ammonium compounds

Applications: disinfectants and sanitizers

Use levels: 450 ppm for disinfection, 150-400 ppm for sanitization 

Attributes: Dilutable concentrates which are effective against listeria, e. coli 0157:H7, salmonella, campylobacter, versinia and other food-borne bacteria. The 205M series of sanitizers offers a range of dilution rates from 2oz./gal, to .5-oz./.10 gallons and from ready-to-use to 4.5 oz./gallon for disinfection.

Lonza Formulation Bardoc 205M-10

Description: a blend of quaternary ammonium compounds

Applications: Food contact sanitizers and disinfectants

Use levels: 150-400 ppm in use-solution for food contact sanitizers

Attributes: Dilutable concentrate at .25-oz./gallon which provides 200 ppm active quaternary for sanitizing food contact surfaces. The product is effective against listeria e. coli 0157:H7, e. Coli, K Lebsiella and staph. The product is also effective against the food borne pathogens campylobacter, salmonella and versinia.

Attributes: The Eucarols are ultra mild biodegradable, natural surfactants. Eucarol AGE-EC is an outstanding degreaser that is mild on the skin, making it suitable for hand dishwash products.

Cobratec TT-390

Description: tolytriazole in glycol ether

Applications: corrosion inhibitor for solvent based copper and brass cleaners

Use levels: 0.1-2.0%

Attributes: Protects metals during cleaning. Prevents later tarnishing of metals.

Cobratec 199

Description: benzotriazole in sulfuric acid/water

Applications: corrosion inhibitor in acid cleaners, water treatment

Use levels: in cleaners, 0.1-2.0%; active, cooling towers 3-5 ppm

Attributes: Copper, brass, silver corrosion inhibitor. Prevents tarnishing.

Cobratec 948

Description: modified triazole 

Applications: Corrosion inhibitor for metal cleaners and in aerosols

Use levels: 0.1-2% based on total weight

Solvent-free Detergent Disinfectant Pump Spray

Properties: Solvent-free detergent disinfectant cleaner (EPA registration number 1839-175) is a ready to use cleaner/limited disinfectant useful for both institutional and consumer markets. The formulation is an all purpose, streak-free cleaner and deodorizer with no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The pump spray is effective against Salmonella choleraesius (ATCC #10708) and Escherichia coli (ATCC#11229).

NP 4.5 Detergent/Disinfectant Series

Properties: NP 4.5 detergent/disinfectant (EPA registration number 1839 79) and NP 4.5 (D&F) detergent/disinfectant (EPA registration number 1839-95) are detergent/disinfectant cleaners with a variety of claims including fungicide, deodorant, sanitizer, mildewstat and virucide. Two new antibiotic-resistant organism claims have recently been added to the NP 4.5 non-phosphate formulations: vancomycin intermediate resistant. Staphylococcus aureus (VISA) and methicillin resistant Staphylococus aureus (MRSA).

NP 9.0 Detergent/Disinfectant Series

Properties: NP 9.0 detergent/disinfectant (EPA registration number 1839 81) and NP 9.0 (D&F) detergent/disinfectant (EPA registration number 1839-96) are detergent/disinfectant cleaners with a variety of claims including fungicide, deodorant, sanitizer, mildewstat and virucide. Two new organism claims have recently been added to the NP 9.0 non phosphate formulations: streptococcus pyogenes (flesh-eating strain) and vancomycin intermediate resistant stapylococus aureus (VISA).
