(NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :CHE) announced today that its tender offer to acquire any and all of the outstanding stock of Roto-Rooter Inc. (NASDAQ NASDAQ in full National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations U.S. market for over-the-counter securities. Established in 1971 by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), NASDAQ is an automated quotation system that reports on :ROTO ROTO Rotation ROTO Roll-Out and Turn-Off ) not held by Chemed, for a cash price of $41.00 per share, expired at midnight on Sept. 11, 1996. Approximately 2,100,000 Roto-Rooter shares were tendered, and all such shares have been accepted for payment by Chemed. Chemed now owns approximately 97% of Roto-Rooter.
