:CHE) today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell the Veratex Retail division of Chemed's Veratex Group to Henry Schein Henry Schein Inc. is a Fortune 500 company based in Melville, New York. It is a distributor of healthcare products and services primarily to office-based healthcare practitioners in the North American and European markets. The Company operates in two business segments.  Inc. for an undisclosed price.

Chemed retains the Tidi Products Inc. manufacturing and distribution operation of The Veratex Group. Tidi, which generated $56 million in sales in 1994, announced its acquisition of CSD CSD Commission on Sustainable Development

 Medical, a manufacturer and distributor of disposable paper products with $12 million in revenues, on May 16.

The sale of Veratex Retail is not expected to have a material impact on Chemed's results for the year. The closing of the sale is pending regulatory approval.
