ChemSW Introduces Configurable Chemical Inventory System For Multinational, Multisite Applications.

FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- ChemSW, Inc. introduces CISPro Global Chemical Inventory System(R) - a new program designed to meet the needs of large companies with many users in multiple facility locations. CISPro Global's software framework allows it to operate in regulated and non-regulated environments, or in a combination of both, for an unlimited number of users. The system has already been installed at Procter and Gamble, where it is being implemented across their multinational, multibusiness R&D environments.

CISPro Global incorporates the inventory management functionality of ChemSW's core product line, in a new application framework that allows virtually unlimited custom configuration to meet changing and evolving processes and workflows. At the same time, the software framework enables ongoing upgrades and support of the system, regardless of the degree to which the system is user-configured. CISPro Global delivers all the necessary tools to accurately track chemicals and supplies and meet safety and regulatory requirements, including bar code labeling, remote inventory control, document linking and links to MSDSs.

The new system allows the tracking of an unlimited number of material classes, including reference standards, with multiple security layers. Materials can easily be designated as GMP or lab use only, and inventories for individual business units can be maintained independently, within a single global database. The system interface can be adjusted based on custom logins, allowing the customer to specify what data each individual can access.

CISPro Global is ideally suited for highly regulated customer environments including pharmaceutical. It enables automated tracking of chemical testing data from the moment the material is received and also tracks samples, tests and results. Built-in security features include capabilities for tracking biologicals, and an integrated component manages reference standards.

For multinational companies, safety data can be configured and managed based on country or region, and the system can generate required regulatory reports in any format. The web-based delivery of CISPro Global facilitates implementation, eliminating the need to install software on the PC of every user, while the system's ability to operate on low bandwidth connections ensures ease of operation anywhere in the world.
