The first regular U.S. fighting force, the Continental Army, was organized by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1775, to supplement local and National Guard. The contract, which requires the placement of over 1,000 SmartWasher systems at Army and National Guard facilities across 16 states during the first year, is valued at $1.3 million.
