As Vice-President, Asia, John Lukes, a 24-year industry veteran, leads a team of highly-experienced employees, with extensive chemical industry knowledge, who will offer their e-commerce, sales, marketing, and customer support experience to ChemConnect's rapidly expanding base of Asian customers.

Lukes, who has 15 years experience working directly with the Asia Pacific chemicals market, and who has lived in the region for the past 10 years, joined ChemConnect from Chevron. He joined ChemConnect from Chevron where he was the Asia Pacific Sales Manager for Chevron Chemical's Oronite Additives Division, in Singapore. During eight years of his management, sales growth increased by an average of 12 percent a year. Lukes also held a series of other managerial roles including supervising the Global Account Managers for Caltex and Mobil, as well as serving as Product Manager for the Asia Pacific Region of Oronite-Chevron.
