Chelsea staub: the Jonas girl.Twenty-year old Chelsea plays Stella Malone on the new Disney comedy series JONAS (premiering in May). And while fashion-forward Stella's the famous band's stylist, in real life Chelsea a simple gal. "I [love] my Sarah Lawrence sweatshirt. We're usually in wardrobe all day, which are school skirts, so I love just coming home, putting [it] on and cuddling up on the couch. Sarah Lawrence is where I always wanted to go to college." TOP CHEF Chelsea is BFFS with co-star Nicole Andersen--both on-screen and off. In fact, they go wag back, even before they were cast on JONAS. "[We loved] sleepovers. Sitting with a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, talking about boys and falling asleep on the couch. Now, we love to [have dinner together]. She knows how to cook, so I like to go over to her apartment. Last time, we had this amazing, creme brulee." A ROOM WITH A VIEW "Nicole and I like to hang out in our dressing rooms. Each really reflects our personality. Nicole's little Susie Homemaker. Her room has homemade stuff all over the walls and my room is very bohemian. My walls are plastered in photos, big flower stickers, blankets and candles." DANCING QUEEN "[I loved] being on student council. We got the last period before a school dance to pick out the theme and decorate. We had to do it in a hung, but it was with all of my friends and we always had music playing. Plus, you felt really cool that you weren't in class." MOMMY DEAREST "My mom has always been there, whether it's baking cookies for a school fund-raiser or just sitting on the couch when a boyfriend broke up with me. The best [advice she's given me] is to live to the point of tears. Whether they're happy tears or sad tears, you just gotta live." APRIL FOOLS 'I was dating this guy, and there was a concert that he really wanted to see, but it was the same night as our school dance. We went to the dance, and I made it look like we were [getting in trouble for] dancing too crazy. The teachers were in on it, and they escorted us to the principal's office. This guy was freaking out--it was just 15 minutes of torture. At the end of it, I pulled out the tickets and was like, 'We're going to the concert!' My mom was outside, waiting for us in her car." |
