Chef to sign cheese book; NEWSBRIEF.CHEF Angela Gray will be signing copies of her publication The Welsh Cheese book on Saturday. Angela, who has just returned from America, where she has been promoting Welsh produce at the Smithsonian Folklife Folklife is an extension of, and often an alternate term for the subject of, folklore. The term gained usage in the United States in the 1960s from its use by such folklore scholars as Don Yoder and Warren Roberts, who wished to recognize that the study of folklore goes beyond oral festival in Washington, will be at the Borders store in Cardiff, from 12.30pm until 1.30pm. For 10 days, people in Washington had the chance to swap hot dogs and hamburgers for a true taste of Wales Wales, Welsh Cymru, western peninsula and political division (principality) of Great Britain (1991 pop. 2,798,200), 8,016 sq mi (20,761 sq km), west of England; politically united with England since 1536. The capital is Cardiff. , as Angela and her team baked Welsh cakes and cawl, and introduced them to a selection of the finest Welsh cheeses. |
