Chef chooses Cappelli development for first suburban eatery.


Having elevated luxury residential living to new: heights with The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester, developer Louis R. Cappelli Louis R. Cappelli (b. 1951[1]) is a real estate developer most active in Westchester County, New York. Sometimes called "The Donald Trump of Westchester," Cappelli has developed more than four million square feet of mixed use, retail, waterfront, residential, office  is now elevating the area's restaurant scene.

Cappelli announced that BLT 1. BLT - /B-L-T/, /bl*t/ or (rarely) /belt/ Synonym for blit. This is the original form of blit and the ancestor of bitblt. BLT Steak opened in Manhattan in 2004 as a revolutionary new Modern American Steakhouse and was named one of "the best new restaurants in America" by Esquire Magazine that same year. Following the restaurant's overwhelming success, sister locations have opened in Washington, D.C. and San Juan, Puerto Rico San Juan (IPA: [saŋ hwaŋ]) (from the Spanish San Juan Bautista, "Saint John the Baptist") is the capital and largest municipality on Puerto Rico. . The White Plains restaurant will be the first suburban location.

Cappelli said the debut of BLT Steak is yet another example of the remarkable renaissance under way in downtown White Plains and noted that another new restaurant offering magnificent views of Manhattan, Long Island Sound and beyond will be located on the 42nd floor of Tower I. An announcement on this is expected shortly.

The 44-story Tower I at The Residences at The RitzCarlton, Westchester, is Westchester's tallest building. It features 185 condominium residences--priced from $750,000 to over $10 million--80% of which sold in just six months. Cappelli has begun marketing residences in the second 44-story tower, which will also feature 185 residences.

The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester hotel will feature 123 luxury rooms and in addition to BLT Steak, the hotel will include a 10,000 s/f luxury spa and fitness center; 10,000 s/f of meeting special event space; and a 500-person ballroom
