Cheers! Beer festival is back.SPIRITS will be raised when the Tynemouth Beer Festival opens its doors this week. Spokesman Neil Harvey said: "We've got two wonderful beers from my favourite brewery, Saltaire Brewery, namely Blackberry Cascade and the fantastic Triple Chocoholic choc·o·hol·ic n. A person who craves chocolate. [choc(olate) + (alc)oholic.] . The first is a wonderfully quenching beer, with distinct blackberry notes, but the Triple Chocoholic is like drinking liquid chocolate." There will also be six ciders and four perries, similar to cider. The festival opens from 7pm to 11pm on Thursday and from noon to 11pm on Friday and Saturday. Entrance is pounds 1 and pounds 2 for a non-refundable glass to use at the sessions. |
