Checkpoint Systems Establishes Global Pricing Contract With Major European Hypermarket Chain.

Checkpoint Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CKP), a leading provider of supply chain management and security solutions worldwide, today announced that it has established a global pricing contract for electronic article surveillance (EAS) technology with Carrefour, a leading France-based hypermarket chain.

Checkpoint, which recently acquired Meto AG, has increased its worldwide EAS market share to 33% and its European share to 43%. Checkpoint offers both radio frequency (RF) and electro-magnetic (EM) technologies to the worldwide retail community.
