 Booth No. 519) and Shore to Shore, a leader in merchandise identification for the retail and apparel industries, have formed an alliance to provide retailers worldwide with merchandise labels and hang tags that contain embedded radio frequency (RF) security circuits. The paper-thin quality of the RF circuits allows them to be hidden (source tagged) completely in the merchandising hang tags.

According to Dave Shoemaker, vice president of business development and source tagging at Checkpoint, paper-thin RF labels can be integrated into merchandise labels, including waistband tickets, pocket flashers and luggage tags. "RF technology delivers a powerful source-tagging solution because paper-thin RF labels integrated with Shore to Shore's merchandise identification tags are truly hidden for enhanced security," he said. "We are pleased to be working with Shore to Shore to meet the source tagging needs of our shared customer base."
