), today announced the election of R. Keith Elliott Keith Elliott VC (1916 - 1989) was a New Zealand recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.  as Chairman of the Board of Directors and the election of George W. Off to its Board of Directors.

With the election of Mr. Off, there are currently six members on Checkpoint's Board of Directors.

Mr. Elliott, who has served on the Board since 2000, replaces David W. Clark as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Clark will continue as a member of the Board.

Mr. Elliott is the retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hercules, Inc. and served with Hercules from 1991 to April 2000 in a variety of executive positions.

Mr. Off is a founder and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Catalina Marking Corp. (NYSE:POS (1) See point of sale and packet over SONET.
