) to become the exclusive distributor of Checkpoint's radio frequency electronic article surveillance See EAS.  (RF EAS) anti-theft systems to the tanning, beauty and nail salon market. This arrangement is the first of its kind for Checkpoint, and the products will be marketed by California Tan under the name of "Checkpoint Beauty Systems."

California Tan will also source tag most of its line of luxury tanning lotions, which are priced from $15 to $70 retail. Source tagging is the process by which paper-thin RF tags are embedded into products or product packaging at the point of manufacture.
