JOBS galore will be up for grabs when Job Scene The Roadshow opens its doors at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow later this month.

Anyone looking for a career change or first job will be spoilt for choice at the event, which takes place from 10.30am till 7pm on Wednesday, May 25.

Health is high on the agenda and companies such as Reed Health, Caledonia Healthcare, ScotNursing and NHS Scotland - Careers for Health are just a few of the companies who will be recruiting for this sector.

Doreen Cobban, Reed's business development consultant, said: 'We will be recruiting for various occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and other allied health professional vacancies throughout Scotland.'

The warmth of the Scottish accent plus the skills of the local workforce have generated a huge growth in customer service and call centre roles in and around Glasgow, and companies such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Norwich Union and NHS Scotland will be looking for the cream of a very talented crop at the roadshow.
