. The San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. Coronado is across the bay.  Zoological Society recently entered into a production relationship with the channel in which the organization produces short news features for the channel's daily news show. The zoo shoots, writes and edits them, then National Geographic does voice-over and adds their own music. The first segment began last week and the next one is in production.
