, vice president with Brothers Recycling Co. Inc., Birmingham, Ala., and his co-workers had an extra reason to be thankful during Thanksgiving week of 2005. The central Alabama metals recycler installed its new NEXGEN See Nx586.  two-ram baling system that week, and David has been thankful for the improvement in operations that has occurred as a result.

David says his Galaxy2R 310W from NEXGEN has produced "all smiles" among the employees of Brothers Recycling. The baler has been easily handling the 1 million pounds per month of nonferrous metals processed by the company, including used beverage cans, painted aluminum, extrusions and MLC (MultiLevel Cell) A flash memory technology that stores more than one bit per cell. Traditional flash memory defines a 0 or 1 bit based on a single voltage threshold.  (mixed low copper) aluminum scrap.

The NEXGEN Galaxy2R model came in tandem with an EZ-TRAX N-Pan conveyor, which David praises as "awesome." He says the company's clean-up chores have been greatly reduced, noting, "All of our metal makes it to the baler--there is no leakage or spillover spill·o·ver
