Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced preliminary results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2001. The company anticipates it will meet the current EPS expectations of $0.28 - $0.29. Revenues for the quarter are expected to be $117 - $118 million. The company experienced an interruption in business following the tragic events of September 11th in the U.S., which resulted in an estimated revenue reduction of $15 - $20 million for the quarter.
