Cheaters Outstrips Competition New Strip Program Scores Strong October Demos.

LOS ANGELES -- CHEATERS(R) The Strip (www.cheaters.com), new to first-run syndication, has outstripped the competition according to the Cheaters October 2004, NSI research report.

"Now Cheaters is a proven strip and weekly series. It consistently improves on its lead-in, time period performance, and key demographic areas such as young female viewers. The caught-in-the-act reality show consistently delivered significantly higher households by 6%, than its lead-in or lead-out programming, unlike most new shows this season. The big story is in the female demos. Versus the show's lead-in, CHEATERS The Strip female demos are up a remarkable 36% women 18-34 and a tremendous 30% increase women 25-54. In an October 03 and October 04 year-to-year comparison, there is a whopping increase of 194% women 18-34 and an incredible 115% women 18-49.

In light of heightened awareness of the suitability of television program content (Business Wire 11/23/04) Bobby Goldstein, Creator and Executive Producer of CHEATERS(R), ordered the nearly 100 existing episodes to be reviewed for appropriateness. Every show of the first five seasons will be screened and re-edited where deemed necessary. The pro-active endeavor reflects industry concern over confusion and uncertainty created by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and what the current Commission finds as acceptable viewing content.

"As we go forward with the CHEATERS weekly episodes and our new daily strip programming, we must adapt the content to protect our stations' needs," said Goldstein in making the announcement. "The original concept of Cheaters is not changing. It is reality programming at its best. People are still fascinated by watching people caught in the act of cheating on their partners," added Goldstein.

Since the Fall of 1999, the CHEATERS surveillance cameras have followed actual true stories, filmed live, documenting the pain of the spouse or a lover caused by infidelity. The series has been so successful that in the Fall of 2004, CHEATERS began broadcasting a weekday strip version of the series.
