Cheap Workers' Comp.


Cheap Workers' Comp: California workers compensation insurance will cost $17.9 billion, not the $24.9 billion as originally projected, fueling calls by legislators for lower premiums to businesses. The California Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau recommended in November that premiums be lowered by 2.9 percent--an amount Democrats said should be as much as 14 percent.
