Cheap A sChips; FOX HOLLIES FISH BAR, FOX HOLLIES ROAD, ACOCKS GREEN VERDICT.I COULDN'T help noticing the juxtaposition juxtaposition /jux·ta·po·si·tion/ (-pah-zish´un) apposition. jux·ta·po·si·tion n. The state of being placed or situated side by side. of words outside this brand new shop which combines the words Fox and Fish and is right next door to an Ex-Cat (alogue) store. Fancy that! After waiting patiently on Monday behind bargainhunting local natives busy ordering sturdy bags full of half-price, opening-day meals, a customary cone of chips weighed 225g on my in-car scales - excellent value for the one-day 45p rate. This is a sparkingly-clean shop with friendly, quick-wrapping staff and the chips were very nicely cooked. Pity the oil wasn't one of my favourites as it left an aftertaste aftertaste /af·ter·taste/ (-tast?) a taste continuing after the substance producing it has been removed. af·ter·taste n. .
