It operates scheduled passenger services on more than 670 flights daily to cities in 30 states, Canada and the Bahamas, through feeder services under the names Delta Connection for Delta Air Lines, , Inc. said today that it would close its Fort Wayne aircraft maintenance facility by August 2002. Since 1999, the facility has served as the primary maintenance base for the airline's fleet of Saab 340 aircraft. The decision to close the facility is due to the airlines decision to eliminate the Saab 340 aircraft from its operations.
