Chateau Elan Winery & Resort's annual concert series "Swinging on the Grapevine" kicks off its sounds of the summer with music and dancing under the stars running from June 30 through September 1.

Guests to the 3,500 acre resort located in North Atlanta will be whisked back in time to the 1960's when Shag dancing and sounds of beach music filled the airwaves and dominated the national dancing scene. The Saturday concerts take place from 8:30pm-11:30pm at Chateau Elan's Pavilion with such popular acts as The Jesters, The Tams, The Drifters, The Okaysions and The Headliners. Guests will have the opportunity to perfect their moves by participating in free Shag lessons offered before each show from 7:30pm-8:30pm.

Food, beverages and alcohol may be purchased at Paddy's Irish Pub, located beside the Pavilion. Bottles of wine may also be purchased at the Wine Market in the Chateau Elan Winery.

Visitors may bring picnic baskets, but state ordinances prohibit bringing alcoholic beverages into the resort.

The summer concert series ticket prices are $30 each and may be purchased by calling Chateau Elan's reservation line at 678-425-0900. The summer line-up features:
