Chateau Communities Clarifies 2002 Dividend Payment and Announces Dividend Schedule for 2003.

) today clarified that total dividends for the calendar year 2002 will amount to $2.20 per share. As previously announced, the Company will distribute a fourth quarter 2002 $0.55 per share dividend on January January: see month.  31, 2003, payable to shareholders of record on January 15, 2003.

The Company also announced that the board of directors has established a meeting schedule that is anticipated to result in the following dividend record and payment dates for calendar year 2003:
