Chase to Open Branches Sunday and Monday to Help Serve South Louisiana Customers.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Chase will open nine of its Baton Rouge area branches and five Houma branches Sunday and 41 branches in Baton Rouge, Houma, Lafayette and Lake Charles Monday to serve customers affected by Hurricane Katrina.

"These are extraordinary times, and we want to open some of our branches Sunday and Monday so we can take care of customers with immediate financial needs as a result of Hurricane Katrina," said Don Barnes, head of retail banking for Chase for Central and North Louisiana.

Branches will be open Sunday in Baton Rouge from noon until 4 p.m. Branches in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Lake Charles will be open Monday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
