Waiving ATM Fees, Extending Branch Hours

) is taking the following steps to help Colorado consumers deal with the holiday blizzard blizzard, winter storm characterized by high winds, low temperatures, and driving snow; according to the official definition given in 1958 by the U.S. Weather Bureau, the winds must exceed 35 mi (56 km) per hr and the temperature 20°F; (−7°C;) or lower. :

* Waiving fees at 108 ATMs at Chase branches through Saturday

* Re-opening up to 80 branches Friday

* Extending hours to 7 p.m. Friday

* Extending hours to 6 p.m. at select branches on Saturday

"We know how the holiday rush often includes the need for convenient cash, so we're waiving fees at our branch ATMs through Saturday," said Steve Shaffer, retail market manager for Chase in Colorado. "We'll stay open late Friday and Saturday to make that last minute trip to the bank more convenient."
