As previously reported, CCI has entered into an initial agreement for its first build-to-suit opportunity with Red Elm which would include the construction of four additional towers under that agreement. Subsequent build-to-suit projects that are presented to CCI through its myriad of contacts in the wireless industry will be funded through Ayin. In return, Ayin will enter into a Development Master Contract with CCI for cell tower site acquisition, pre-development management service, leasing and on-going asset management services, in addition to contracts for the construction of the individual sites.

Ayin has entered into agreements with various lending sources to raise debt and equity for the cell tower build-to-suit projects, which is anticipated to include the purchase of existing multi-tenant towers currently under negotiation and the build-out of up to 80 towers over the next 24 months. The cost of this venture is expected to exceed $20 million dollars with an average cost of construction on each new tower exceeding $200,000.

"Charys is committed to establishing its position in the integrated technology infrastructure and service industry by creating this entity to take advantage of the twin opportunities to construct and retain ownership in towers for our valued customers," said Billy V.
