Chartwell REIT to be Included in Two S&P/TSX Indices.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -- Chartwell Seniors Housing Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX:CSH.UN) announced today that its Units would be included in the S&P/TSX Capped Income Trust Index and the S&P/TSX Capped REIT Index effective with the close of business on Friday, December 17, 2004.
