:CHAP) announced today William R. Willard's appointment as director of the company.

Willard has considerable experience in investment banking domestically and internationally. Willard was formerly First Vice President in corporate Finance for Bateman, Eichler, owned by Kemper Insurance. He also served as vice president of Mosley, Hallgarten, Estabrook and Weeden Inc. and duPont Glore Forgan Inc.

Willard was actively involved with the Bendix Corp. restructuring restructuring - The transformation from one representation form to another at the same relative abstraction level, while preserving the subject system's external behaviour (functionality and semantics).  prior to its acquisition by Allied Signal. He also handled the turnaround of Kaiser Engineers, a $350 million engineering construction firm, for seven major banks with combined debt of $60 million senior and $42 million subordinated. Most recently, Willard was retained as the interim chief executive officer for Everlast Filtration Corp. to protect its major investors.
