Charts in stream shake-up.CHART bosses are set to shake-up the Top 40 with free music streaming counting towards making a track a hit. Websites such as Spotify and We7 let people hear music for free but this has no impact on the charts as they haven't been paid for. But the Official UK Charts Company believe the services are now so popular that they will soon have no choice but to include their use. A spokesman said: "The charts have always been a means of identifying the hottest records. "That's been simple when people have bought stuff to keep.
