Lam Research Lam Research Corporation (NASDAQ: LRCX) engages in the design, manufacture, marketing, and service of semiconductor processing equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits.  Corporation (Nasdaq:LRCX) today announced receiving the award for "Best Overall Supplier" from Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing SGX: C27 NASDAQ: CHRT (abbreviated CSM) is the world's fourth largest dedicated independent semiconductor foundry, with its headquarters and main operations located in the Woodlands Industrial Park, Kranji Singapore.  Ltd., Singapore. Lam was honored for support of Chartered's 200 mm facilities. Chartered, one of the world's top three foundries, bases its award nominations on several criteria, including quality, service, innovation, delivery, and cost. Additionally, Jason Choo, service engineer for Lam, was honored with the "Outstanding Service Engineer" award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Chartered in the area of yield improvement.
